◎ 漁業法記念日
    1949年(昭和24年)に漁業法が施行されたことを記念して。

◎ 青函トンネル開業記念日
    1988(昭和63)年、青函トンネルを通るJR津軽海峡線が開業しました。 青函トンネルは、全長53.85km、全長の43%が海底という世界最長のトンネルです。 同時に青函連絡船が80年の歴史の幕を閉じました。

◎ サンドイッチデー
    1が3で挟まれている(サンド1＝サンドイッチ)ことから。 この日とは別に、サンドウィッチの生みの親とされるイギリスのサンドウィッチ伯爵の誕生日・11月3日が「サンドウィッチの日」となっています。
